Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Mc Kees Rocks, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adjusting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as directed by site policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Support a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
