Job Description

As a Security Officer Government Patrol Unarmed in Ventura, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a valued member of Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout government locations. In this unarmed patrol role, you will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
