Job Details Location : Oregon Start Date : Oct 27, 2025 LOA : 52 days Provider Type Needed : Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts; 6 : 00am–4 : 30pm Responsibilities and Duties Conduct physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and monitor patients Administer medications and provide instructions to patients Monitor and document patient health, including vital signs and medical histories Provide direct patient care, triage, assess patient needs, develop care plans, and coordinate services Educate patients on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and substance abuse prevention Adhere to correctional facility security protocols and collaborate with correctional officers and healthcare professionals Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment plans, and report relevant information Conduct rounds and evaluate patients returning from off-site treatment Admit and discharge patients from the facility Additional Information Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Oregon Required certifications : DEA, Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (ANNP) Corrections experience preferred but not required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
