Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist at the Pike VA Clinic located in Zebulon, GA Join us in providing exceptional care to the men and women who have served our country.

Position Details :

Location : Pike VA Clinic

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm

Type of Role : On-site care for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) beneficiaries

Outpatient setting on site Direct Patient Care

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to veterans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient mental health needs.

Outpatient setting

6 to 6.5 direct patient care hours per day or 12 patients for one half-hour each; or any combination of one-hour and one-half hour appointment per day

• Shall be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric services for Veterans enrolled for care in the Atlanta VA Healthcare System Outpatient Clinics.
• Provide general psychiatric care to male and female adult Veterans which includes, but is not limited to, conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consultation, medication management, and individual psychotherapy.
• The psychiatrist provides assessment of serious and complicated cases involving psychiatric illness, catastrophic medical conditions, dementia and other high-risk diagnoses

Qualifications :

Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist : Active certification or eligibility required.

Unrestricted State Medical License : Valid and in good standing in any U.S. state.

DEA Certification : Current and unrestricted DEA license.

BLS thru the AHA or American Red Cross
