The laboratory at Alpha Resources, LLC manufactures a diverse portfolio of reagents and reference material products for a variety of analytical instrument methods such as combustion, inert gas fusion, and x-ray fluorescence. We are seeking a qualified individual with a talent for organization for the newly created role of Laboratory Coordinator.

The Laboratory Coordinator reports to the General Manager, Lab Operations and the Global Technical Director. The role is responsible for assisting with the administration, tracking, and organization of laboratory production planning to ensure on-time delivery of products.

The coordinator will be expected to provide administrative assistance in the following tasks :

• Assisting the General Manager in generating and tracking process planning records for maintaining ISO 17025 / 17034 compliance.
• Managing the logistics and records of outsource services including shipping / receiving of test samples and tracking of testing results.
• Conversion of hard copy production records to electronic format.
• Maintaining production databases including the organization and retrieval of process records.
• Assisting the Global Technical Director with special projects.
• Ordering and procurement of materials and services.
• Other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Global Technical Director
