Main Responsibilities Administer and support IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments across development, test, staging, and production — including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and licensing. Architect, evaluate, and optimize deployment strategies for enterprise platforms across Kubernetes environments such as GKE and OpenShift. Maintain and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters for deploying and managing data services and pipelines, including application scaling, resource management, and troubleshooting. Implement, operate, and troubleshoot Apache NiFi flows and clusters; manage templates, controllers, and provenance data. Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, or similar) for deployment, backup, monitoring, rollback, and maintenance tasks. Build and manage CI / CD pipelines for DataStage, NiFi templates, and containerized services using Jenkins, GitHub, or similar tools. Monitor platform health, data pipelines, and system performance; establish proactive alerting and capacity planning measures. Execute backup and disaster recovery plans for DataStage and NiFi artifacts. Enforce security best practices including secrets management, RBAC, patching, and vulnerability remediation. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and provide post-incident documentation. Maintain accurate operational documentation, runbooks, and playbooks. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to support integration and automation goals. Required :  5+ years of experience in production systems administration and platform support.  3+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM InfoSphere DataStage (installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and job deployment).  Proven experience in architecting and implementing deployment solutions for enterprise data platforms.  Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes operations.  Experience with Apache NiFi (preferred).  Strong Linux system administration (RHEL / CentOS) and networking fundamentals.  Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Perl.  Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD and containerization using Docker.  Understanding of security best practices for data platforms (RBAC, secrets management, TLS, patching).  Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
