Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital radiology department with primary assignment in X-Ray
  • Four, nine-hour evening shifts per week (Monday through Thursday, 3 : 30 PM to 1 : 00 AM)
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in length
  • Patient care may include adult and high-risk respiratory cases
  • Must be willing to float between main campus and nearby campuses within 15 miles as needed
  • EPIC EMR experience is required
  • Potential to float to support multidisciplinary teams or assist other clusters
  • May have to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
  • Responsible for independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures and coordinating patient flow
  • May perform additional imaging modalities based on departmental needs
  • On-call responsibilities may be required depending on departmental needs
  • Expected to maintain equipment and perform duties within professional scope of practice
  • No more than 14 days of requested time off will be approved, and all RTO must be submitted upfront
  • Travelers are not eligible for employee incentive programs
  • Up to 24 hours of onboarding modules will be completed during orientation
  • Scrub or dress code determined by department policy

  • Associate degree in Allied Health with a focus in Radiologic Technology
  • Current BLS certification through AHA required
  • Current ARRT and ODH certification required
  • Must have operating room (OR) experience
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Ability to independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and administer contrast media
  • Must comply with a 30-mile local radius rule (locals accepted at the same rate)
  • Must be fitted for N95 or PAPR if working on high-risk units
  • License required if applicable
