Job Description

Equinox in Houston, Texas is seeking Group Fitness Instructors. Responsibilities include :

Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity as needed.
Monitor exercise intensity throughout classes.
Ensure classes start and end on time.
Teach regularly with minimal substitutions.
Communicate feedback and operational issues to the Group Fitness Manager.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have :

A current Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM) or a related degree.

Experience teaching Group Fitness classes.

Current CPR / AED certification.

Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, exercise modifications, and ACSM Guidelines.

Willingness to learn and pursue professional development.

Friendly, vibrant, outgoing personality.
