Travel Surgical Technologist - $2,250 per week

ProKatchers is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in State College, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift : 8 hr shifts M-F; 0630-1500 and / or 0900-1730; call opportunity available, but not required Work Experience : A minimum of three years’ operating room experience preferred. 2. A background in Cesarean Sections and Orthopedic, General and Vascular surgery preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the specific uses of all equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. Uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Extensive dexterity skills needed to handle equipment needed for surgical procedures. Strength required to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning of patients, moving of equipment and handling of supplies. Knowledge / demonstration of aseptic technique. Ability to work well with physicians, coworkers, and students. Ability to work closely with a positive attitude with individuals under physical or emotional stress. Education : High School Education or equivalent Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program sponsored by an entity holding nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation or successful completion of appropriate training program for surgical technology in the United States Army, Navy or Air Force.
