With a strong reputation for professionalism and service, we are expanding our footprint in Vermont and are looking for a licensed Vermont attorney with real estate experience to join our team.Position Summary :We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Vermont-licensed attorney to support our real estate closing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and / or commercial real estate transactions and a strong understanding of Vermont-specific title, closing, and property laws. This role will involve managing closings, reviewing titles, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process. You MUST be a Vermont resident.Key Responsibilities :Oversee and conduct residential and commercial real estate closings in VermontReview title searches, clear title issues, and prepare title opinionsDraft, review, and approve legal documents related to real estate transactions (deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, etc.)Provide legal guidance to staff, lenders, agents, and clients regarding Vermont real estate law and closing proceduresMaintain compliance with all applicable laws and professional regulationsServe as Vermont attorney-of-record on transactions, ensuring proper execution and delivery of closing documentsParticipate in business development efforts and support the growth of our Vermont operationsQualifications :Active Vermont law license in good standing (REQUIRED)A Vermont residentMinimum 3 years of experience in real estate transactions preferredStrong knowledge of Vermont real estate law, title review, and closing proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor with a commitment to client service and attention to detailExperience with Qualia or similar closing software a plusJob Type : Full-time
