Job Summary
We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful dealership service center.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for learning to work the lube, hood, and technician positions. You must be comfortable using the Quick Lube Center's computer software and have working knowledge of vehicle systems.
If you have a never give up attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle needsAdhere to service center procedures for quality work, tracking of service status, maintaining thorough documentation, and other necessary protocolsCarry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacementsConduct multi-point vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakesEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat businessConvey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise mannerQualifications
High school diploma or GED is requiredAn associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferredAutomotive Service Excellence / ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers / SAE certification is preferredStrong customer service and communications skills are requiredBi-lingual Spanish and English a plusState inspector's license a plusAbility to work overtime as needed
