Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Swiftwater, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic healthcare location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or disturbances.
  • Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist employees, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
