Senior Applications Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer, GenAI for Science.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with research teams globally to adopt GenAI software for scientific data and models

Debug, profile, and recommend optimizations for GenAI applications

Gather customer feedback to enhance GenAI software for scientific research and participate in hands-on workshops

Required Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field (Ph.D. or Masters preferred)

5+ years of hands-on experience developing and optimizing AI / ML models using frameworks like PyTorch

Deep understanding of GenAI model architectures such as GPT-x and Llama

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a globally distributed team
