IT Procurement Manager

Nakupuna Federal is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) under the Custom Training Development and Delivery Support Services contract. ESI is a strategic sourcing program that helps streamline software and IT acquisitions across the DoD to reduce costs, improve compliance, and enhance procurement efficiency. The IT Procurement Manager will provide subject matter expertise to ensure training content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with DoD policies and federal regulations. This advisory role does not involve direct procurement execution but supports the development and delivery of training materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory support on IT procurement principles, federal acquisition regulations (FAR / DFARS), and DoD policies to training development and delivery teams.
• Review and assess training content to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with DoD ESI requirements.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers and cross-functional teams to guide the design and update of customized training materials that clearly communicate procurement processes and compliance standards.
• Advise on emerging procurement trends, policy updates, and regulatory changes to keep training materials current and relevant.
• Assist in preparing guidance documents, FAQs, and other resources to clarify procurement concepts for training participants.
• Participate as a subject matter advisor during training sessions to support accurate and policy-compliant messaging.

Qualifications

Skills / Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Clearance Requirements : No clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Location : The position is primarily based at Nakupuna facilities in Arlington, VA; however, the candidate is expected to support up to four in-person training events annually in San Diego, CA, or Washington, D.C.
