Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Teller to join their client's team in Temecula. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch service to customers while managing a variety of financial transactions and account-related services.

Responsibilities

• Customer service

Greets customers in a friendly, professional manner and assists them with account inquiries and other banking needs.

Handles customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and loan payments.

Manages and balances a cash drawer daily, ensuring all cash, checks, and other financial instruments are counted and verified. This may also include preparing cash for transfer to and from the vault.

Assists customers with a variety of account services, such as ordering new checks, redeeming savings bonds, or issuing money orders and cashier's checks.

Identifies opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services, such as new accounts, loans, or credit cards, and makes referrals to appropriate specialists.

Verifies customer identification, detects fraudulent activity, and follows all security protocols and banking regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned, which can include opening and closing the branch, managing the drive-through, or handling administrative tasks.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is typically required.

Strong arithmetic abilities and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact positively with customers and coworkers.

Proficiency in basic computer functions and the ability to learn and use banking software.

A high level of honesty and ethical conduct for handling sensitive financial information.
