Job Title : Tax Accountant

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a positive attitude to support our small business clients. This role involves working closely with our professional staff to deliver high-quality bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client support services.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review monthly bookkeeping / write-up and tax filings.

Prepare and review annual tax returns (corporations, LLCs, individuals, and others).

Assist with ongoing tax planning for clients.

Manage monthly workflow for assigned small business accounts.

Develop into a primary point of contact for assigned clients.

Support firm leadership with special projects as needed.

Qualifications :

2-5 years of experience working with small businesses.

Experience with monthly bookkeeping / write-up services.

Strong background in preparing tax returns for corporations and individuals.

General knowledge of payroll and sales tax filings.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks and UltraTax experience preferred).

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
