Deputy Sheriff I : DSA Salary Range 42 : $31.95 - $38.84 / hr.
Deputy Sheriff II : DSA Salary Range 43B : $34.38 - $41.80 / hr.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience :
Education :
High school diploma, GED or equivalent. A background in law enforcement or degree in a related field is desirable.
Citizenship :
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment, pursuant to the requirements established in California Government Code section 1031.
Licenses :
Possession of a valid Class C driver's license or equivalent at the time of appointment.
