About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Experience : 2+ years in ICU with some stepdown experience

License : RN license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS, CRRT & CCRN preferred, not required

Must-Have :

• Ability to titrate drips
• Ventilator experience
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation

Description :

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.

Candidates must have experience with critical conditions, including cardiac arrest and respiratory distress.

Familiarity with conditions such as sepsis, DKA, and post-surgical care is essential.

Experience in managing patients on BiPap, CPAP, and high flow oxygen is necessary.

Nurses will be responsible for titrating drips and managing ventilators.

Nurse-to-patient ratios may vary from 1 : 1 to 2 : 1.

Clinical Technicians will assist with vital signs, EKGs, and IV starts.

Nurses must be able to read and interpret their own EKG strips.

The role requires participation in self-scheduling with a commitment of every other weekend.

There is no call or standby requirement for this position.

Nurses will need to complete a skills-based orientation with three shifts alongside a preceptor.

Nurses are expected to follow dress code guidelines.

This position requires access to electronic health record systems.
