Position Summary
P erform s a variety of accounting duties including daily back office processes, account reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, supporting schedules and working with reconciliations . Some account analysis, basic system maintenance and administration function s are required . This position works independently to accomplish tasks timely and accurately.

Minimum Job Requirements :
Education :
High School or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Accounting ( preferred )
Experience :
Two to five years of accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting experience
Experience at a credit union or bank preferred
Specific Skills :
Accurate and detail oriented
Excelle nt math and communication skills
Strong orga nizational and analytical ability
C apacity to work effectively and efficiently under time constraints and deadlines continually providing the highest quality service to our members
Ability to handle multiple tasks at different degrees of difficulty, and the compete ncy and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when required
Team player, willing to help others in the department, mature attitude and work ethic
General understanding of Credit Union policies and procedures and standard banking practices (preferred)
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc. :
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software . Demonstrated ability to efficiently use other PC based software.
Proficient in FSP and Ultrafis (preferred)
