Bookkeeper – Boutique CPA Firm | Hybrid – Hartford, CT Area

We’re looking for a Bookkeeper to support a diverse client base and keep their financial operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of small business and individual clients
- Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports
- Manage payroll processing and sales tax filings as needed
- Work closely with senior accountants and CPAs to support tax prep and advisory work
- Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues
What We’re Looking For
2–5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a public accounting or client-service environmentStrong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and general accounting principlesDetail-oriented and able to juggle multiple client accounts at onceExcellent communication skills and a client-service mindsetNo CPA required — but a solid foundation in accounting is a mustWhy This Role
