Overnight Caregiver

Amaray Care is currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Overnight Caregiver to support a client located in Silver Spring, MD.

This position involves providing both physical care and emotional support to an individual who can no longer care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

Experience working with clients who have behavioral challenges is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, understanding, and able to de-escalate situations with empathy and professionalism.

They must also demonstrate dignity, compassion, and respect in all interactions while honoring the client’s personal space, beliefs, and family dynamics.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and catheter care Support clients with behavioral needs in a calm and compassionate manner Ensure client safety and well-being at all times Light housekeeping and laundry Meal preparation and medication reminders Accompany clients to appointments as needed Offer emotional support, structure, and consistency Requirements : Minimum 1 year of experience in Home Health Care Experience with catheter care Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges is highly preferred High school diploma or GED Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check Valid CPR / First Aid Certification Physical capability to lift and assist the client in and out of bed or a wheelchair Strong communication skills and emotional resilience Schedule : Weekdays and Weekends 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM   Powered by JazzHR
