UX Design Manager, PSS UX, Technical Risk Management

Google is seeking a UX Design Manager to lead a distributed team of UX Designers in the Technical Risk Management (TRM) organization. The ideal candidate will have experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems, and influencing stakeholders, as well as deep expertise in domain.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.
3 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.

Preferred qualifications :

Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.

Experience working in highly technical or regulated environments.

Experience introducing and scaling AI powered solutions in enterprise contexts.

Ability to demonstrate impact across multiple product areas.

Ability to demonstrate systems and service design thinking.

Excellent people-management, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

As a UX Design Manager at Google, you will be responsible for guiding the careers of your team members, working closely with each of them to help them realize their full potential. You will collaborate with leaders of other UX, Engineering, and Product Management teams to create innovative experiences across all of Google’s products, leveraging your passion for brand, craft, and design quality.

Responsibilities

Manage, lead, and mentor a distributed team of UX Designers, guiding them to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Cultivate a strong and collaborative team culture that inspires and motivates.

Own the TRM design roadmap for a portfolio of internal enterprise tools, driving tactical multi-phase projects.

Set the standard for design excellence by establishing and fostering best practices for your team.

Influence and align executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to build a shared understanding of user-centered design and advocate innovative solutions.
