Sanitation Supervisor
Pilgrim's is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to work during afternoon shift to ensure the production area is thoroughly cleaned on time and approved by USDA for production operations. This role will be based at our processing plant in Cold Spring, MN.

Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Plans, assigns, and directs work of sanitation team members to ensure plant is cleaned and sanitized correctly and timely
- Supervises, trains and develops sanitation team members
- Manages team member's performance, providing positive and / or corrective feedback
- Ensures sanitation team members are working in a safe manner following established cleaning procedures as required by Pilgrim's and the appropriate regulatory agencies
- Promotes department and company goodwill through pro-active team member communication and team member involvement
- Maintains communication with USDA and chemical suppliers regarding to sanitation
- Administers company policies and procedures fairly and equitable to maintain standards established for safety, quality, and overall company personnel satisfaction
- Manages inventory and usage of sanitation related products and the sanitation budget
- Other duties as required.
Educational requirements and basic qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a related field; or one to two years directly related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredConsiderable knowledge of sanitation proceduresConsiderable knowledge of supervisory management practices and principlesConsiderable skill in oral and written communicationBilingual (English / Spanish) preferredProficient in MS Office software applicationsAbility to work with minimal supervisionCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
