Job Purpose
This is a part time position that supports the Seawell ballroom technical teams and technical systems in the Seawell Ballroom and the Directors Room at the DCPA. This position will encompass entry level people as well as seasoned veterans. Basic to expert level experience will be considered for this position. This position will support all the AV disciplines including Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, and minor room set ups for all virtual, hybrid or live events. Candidates for this position must be able to interpret CAD drawings And BEO's to assist in bringing the client's vision to life with support from the AV team and managers. Applicants for this position must be self-starters and self-motivated but still work well in a collaborative environment. This individual works with event managers, technical teams, and occasion client interaction.

Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional AV booth and event space environments during regular business hours in addition to some nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear clearly, and consistently communicate over email and in person throughout scheduled shift. In addition to spending long / extended periods in motion, the employee frequently is required to move around the booth and work environment, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. This individual can work at heights of 30' and in some tight quarters.
