Forklift Operator

Wage : $21.57 / hour

Shift : Nights

Hours : 6 : 00pm - 6 : 00am (2-2-3 Rotation)

Forklift Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :

  • Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders, and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound
  • Meet department goals for efficiency
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received, and shipped to quality standards
  • Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems
  • Complete all shift documentation / paperwork
  • Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's
  • Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Forklift Operator Requirements :

  • At least three years of forklift experience including Reach - Longevity in work history - Mechanical aptitude - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills - Ability to lift up to 10lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Ability to lift 11-30lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Ability to lift 31-50lbs occasionally (1-2lbs per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments - Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements
