Senior Tax Preparer - Established Dallas CPA Firm

This is a tight-knit practice of five CPAs with over 100 combined years of tax expertise, specializing in complex tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and closely-held businesses.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and client demand, our client seeks an experienced tax professional to join their collaborative team. Position Highlights

Core Responsibilities :

  • Prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Review returns prepared by team members
  • Collaborate on tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
  • Research technical tax matters and provide innovative solutions
  • Work closely with a team of five CPAs on challenging engagements

Required Qualifications :

  • Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent designation (required)
  • Minimum 4 years in public accounting tax department (local or regional firm)
  • Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity types
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively in remote work environment
  • Willingness to work extended (but reasonable) hours during tax season
  • Highly Desired :

  • CCH ProSystem fx and / or CCH Axcess Tax experience
  • QuickBooks proficiency
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with wealthy, complex clients
  • Multi-state tax return experience
