Responsibilities
- The HIL Commissioning Engineer is responsible for building VT HIL systems, developing harnesses, setup Breakout Box, integrate all components and build VT HIL systems with Real and Virtual Loads. Also responsible for architecting and integrating VT Systems for a Component HIL.
- Must understand the equipment's used in HIL system such as Power supply, multimeter, Oscilloscope, VT system and their usage in HILs.
- Must have hand on for creating schematics diagrams, wiring diagrams.
- Must have hands on automotive HIL system installation & commissioning.
- Should have good debugging knowledge of HIL set up.
- Identify system boundaries and define requirements for simulator I / O, instrumentation, and automation solutions.
- Understands Sensors / Actuators spec, design, implement and troubleshoot instrumentation as required.
- Review component level electrical schematics and functional specifications and translate the requirements into hardware and signal requirements.
- Validate and troubleshoots simulator and test bench.
- Troubleshoots vehicle systems and test environment functionality to minimize false positive incident reports.
- Build and Simulate HIL System for open loop commissioning.
- Setup HIL Integrations and ECU component, loads, Wiring harnesses etc (Vehicle parts, PC setup etc.)
- Commissioning : HILs, ECU, load devices- Power, gnd, communications, FIU & RCA etc.
- Conduct Test property Basic functional test check outs in CANoe Panels and perform HIL Bench Fabrication.
- Complete Setup and Commissioning, Coordinate with Test Automation team to run Fault Injection tests.
- Integrate VT system in the vehicle and HIL environments.
- Develop CAN interfaces to all communication boards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in EE, CE, or CS.Experience with HIL Commissioning and installation with VT systems.Experience in hardware interface, wiring harnesses, mapping I / O with VT boards with Controllers etc.Ability to work on automated tests across different CAN architecture platforms.Ability to build VT HIL systems independently, integrate with Component and Loads.Experience on simulator software for CAN on fault insertion testing and diagnostic verification testing along with feature function testing.Testing and debugging automotive embedded systems software.Working knowledge of modelling, simulation, and testing techniques.J-18808-Ljbffr
