Founded in 2020 with a philosophy rooted in fine dining, we’ve grown into a trusted partner for top corporate clients, from intimate tastings to multi-day, 800+ guest events.
Thanks to strong client relationships, a proven product, and word-of-mouth momentum, we're hiring our first Director of Sales to formalize our strategy, scale our pipeline, and accelerate growth.
Position Overview
As our Director of Sales , you’ll design and execute a structured sales pipeline, expand outbound lead generation, and help drive sustainable revenue growth. This is a new leadership role , reporting directly to our founder, with the opportunity to shape the future of Ambrosia’s growth strategy from the ground up.
Experience
Applicant must have at least 2 years experience in catering sales, and at least 4 years of experience in catering / events. Applicants without experience in catering sales will not be considered .
Key Responsibilities
Optimize, streamline, & manage an efficient catering sales pipeline
Identify and pursue high-value outbound sales opportunities (corporate, recurring, and multi-day clients)
Own all outbound lead generation initiatives and campaigns
Close new business and coordinate clean handoff to operations
Track and analyze sales performance using clear KPIs
Maintain alignment with internal teams on capacity, execution, and client expectations
Ensure a consistent, high-touch client experience across the sales cycle
Performance Expectations
First 3 Months : Focus on establishing systems, refining pipeline, and developing strategy.
Ongoing : Prioritize new business growth, improve conversion rates, and support operational clarity
Success will be measured by both new client revenue and sales infrastructure development
Compensation
Base Salary : $68,000–$85,000 depending on experience
OTE : $100,000 - $135,000
Commission :
18% on first order from new outbound clients
3% on all other closed deals
Commission paid on the 2nd paycheck of each month
Commission paid on all completed events in the previous month.
Annual Bonus : You will be eligible for a $25,000 bonus upon reaching $1,000,000 in qualifying annual sales.
Event Volume & Capacity
Recent annual volume includes 240 + events and 32 ,000+ guests served
We’ve successfully executed :
Up to 5 events in a single day
Up to 16 events in a week
Up to 30 events in a month
Lead Sources
Inbound : Client referrals, repeat business, organic website traffic

Support for remote work setup and ongoing home office costs will be available after 3 months.
