Senior Accountant Description :

Tiffin University is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Office team. This position plays a key role in managing financial reporting, general ledger operations, payroll accounting, and audit support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborativehelping ensure financial accuracy and compliance while supporting the universitys mission.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities :

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
• Manage general ledger functions and month-end close processes.
• Oversee payroll accounting and investment reconciliations.
• Support external audit preparation and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and grant accounts.
• Maintain accurate fiscal records and assist with tax and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with departments across campus to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
