JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assist client with daily living activities and IADL's such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, ROM exercises and body massages.

Maintaining medical equipment, machines, and learning sterilization techniques.

Learning and providing nursing delegated tasks such as g-tube feedings and cares, suprapubic cleaning and emptying, tracheostomy cleaning and cares not limited to suctioning tracheostomy.

Full assist the individual with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety during transfers and movement.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for client by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.

Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.

Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to caregiving best practices.

REQUIREMENTS :

Previous experience (2+ years) in caregiving or related fields such as hospice or assisted living.

Knowledge of medical care principles and practices

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and remaining confidentiality

Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Ability to follow care plans accurately.

Compassionate and genuine desire to help improve quality of life

Pass background checks required by the state of Oregon.

Dependability as this client is critical care.

RATE OF PAY :

$21 per hour (experience dependent)

SCHEDULE : 30 hours

Tuesday - Saturday 4 : 30pm-10 : 30pm.  Option for additional hours as well.

Saturday shift has a $3 differential on top of the $21 an hour.
