Mammography Physician

Specialty : Breast Radiology

Shift Details : 8 hour shifts with 30 minutes unpaid lunch

Schedule : Monday Friday (weekends optional)

Work Details :

• Support staff : 1 radiologist on staff
• Amount of coverage needed per month : 1-2 weeks of coverage a month
• Patients per day : 22-25 with 19-22 diagnostic reeds per day
• Patient population / age : adult / geriatric mostly women
• Department description : breast imaging center have 4 Mammogram and 4 ultrasound machines
• EMR : EPIC in April
• Special procedures : breast procedures : needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies)

Skills required :

do Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms, breast procedures, Breast MRIs, Breast Ultrasounds, and Tomosynthesis (3d Mammo)

Procedures : no more than 6 Breast procedures done in a day (no more than 1 per hour)

Board Certification : BC

State license required : NJ

DEA : Yes

CSR : Yes

Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days

Willing To License? : Yes, but prefer a NJ license.
