About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Surgical Tech

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Adult Cardiac and Vascular Surgical Technologist experience

License : Certification preferred but not required

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have : 2 years of Adult Cardiac & Vascular Surgical Technologist experience

Description :

The position involves providing assistance in the operating room.

Candidates should have experience with adult CVOR case types.

The department supports both Adult and Pediatric Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries.

Surgical Technologists will work with a team that includes clinical supervisors, charge nurses, and CRNAs.

Call is required, with one night per week and two weekends in a six-week scheduling period.

Weekend rotation may involve covering nights or weekends in case of emergencies.

All staff must wear hospital-issued scrubs in the operating room.

A good unit culture is present, promoting team support and collaboration.

Candidates should be prepared for holiday expectations during the contract period.
