Facilities Maintenance / HVAC Personnel

Duncansville, PA

Local food wholesale and distribution company is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, and dependable Facilities Maintenance Person to join their team. HVAC certifications are not required for this role.

The facility maintenance / HVAC position will perform general upkeep, repair, and installation for building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, along with structural and custodial tasks

Qualifications :

  • Facility maintenance experience
  • HVAC systems and equipment repair and maintenance experience (certificate are not required)
  • Knowledge of cooler and freezer systems maintenance
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in coolers / freezer environment
  • General skills for cleaning, painting, and landscaping
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance challenge
  • Professional in appearance and communications
  • High priority for quality customer service, attention to detail, and thoroughness
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license with clean MVR
  • Pre-employment drug and background check will be required

General Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks
  • Completed general maintenance and / or repair HVAC systems and equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failure, and responding to emergency calls
  • Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. washes windows, and outside of structures
  • Removal of snow and ice on sidewalks, cuts grass and other general landscaping on organization's properties
  • Complete and document work orders, maintenance records, and project status

    • Schedule / Benefit Overview :

  • Hourly position based on related experience level
  • Hours : 7 : 00am- 4 : 00pm Monday-Friday
  • Health, Vision & Dental coverage eligible the first of the month after 60 days of service
  • Holiday Pay and Paid time off earned
  • 401k with Company Match after 1 year of service
  • Company paid life and short / long term disability insurance
