Packaging Engineer

We are seeking a driven and result-oriented Packaging Engineer with 3–5 years of experience and a related technical degree to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement optimal packaging solutions that are standardized, easy to implement, cost-effective, and aligned with customer requirements. This role also includes hands-on training of packaging staff and the development of clear, standardized work instructions to support operational consistency and quality. Job Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement the most effective packaging solutions for a complex mix of products
• Work with customer-facing teams to review specifications and provide acceptable packaging solutions
• Develop, document, and maintain clear and detailed work instructions for packaging processes and standards
• Train packaging line employees in proper procedures and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Lead packaging development projects from concept through execution while managing timelines and budgets
• Continuously evaluate packaging materials and processes for improvements in performance, sustainability, and cost
• Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting packaging-related issues on production floor

Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

3–5 years of experience in packaging engineering

Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Effective communicator with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience in creating technical documentation and work instructions

Proficiency in packaging design tools and familiarity with packaging testing standards

Experience in using solid modeling software such as SolidWorks is a plus

Ability to follow written and verbal directions
