Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer, or a mid-level engineer eager to step up, who has a solid background in Building Projects to join our team in the Richmond, VA office.

This position involves collaborating with our engineering staff to create innovative concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently while thriving within multi-disciplinary teams to produce exceptional electrical engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assume the role of lead electrical engineer on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, overseeing each phase from proposal and design to bidding and construction
• Engage in Project Management, Business Development, and Leadership activities
• Collaborate effectively with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects
• Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to regulations
• Support and supervise junior team members, delegating project tasks when applicable
• Engage in substantive discussions with external and internal clients
• Deliver detailed and effective outputs to meet project needs
