Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Assistant Manager to help lead warehouse and logistics operations for a fast-growing logistics company. You’ll supervise daily activities, mentor associates, and drive efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse functions.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise inbound / outbound operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead and develop warehouse staff through clear communication, training, and feedback.
  • Monitor KPIs to improve productivity, accuracy, and on-time performance.
  • Conduct inventory audits, resolve discrepancies, and manage damage control.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Excel to track and analyze performance.
  • Coordinate staffing and workflow with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Support new initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field .
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience in multi-shift environments preferred.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics setting.
