Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,892 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in West Branch, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Responsibilities : Inject and administer radiopharmaceuticals; assay activities; calculate volumes / concentrations per protocol Perform lab procedures including preparation of radiopharmaceutical kits and unit doses Position patients per Nuclear Medicine protocols; monitor patients during procedures Start IV access using aseptic techniques Operate all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation (gamma cameras, SPECT, PET, dose calibrators) Conduct quality control for all equipment Follow Radiation Safety practices (ALARA) and NRC guidelines Additional Skills / Requirements : Knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS) and HIS preferred Independent judgment and initiative in technical procedures Adherence to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies Experience Required : Minimum 2 years Nuclear Med Tech experience Certifications Required : ARRT(N) or CNMT, BLS (AHA) About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
