This is a dynamic and fast-paced role for a dedicated individual to join our healthcare team.

Clinical Expertise :

Nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to their level of practice.

Administers medications and treatments, monitors side-effects, and evaluates effectiveness of treatment prescribed.

Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.

Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.

BLS required.

RN License in state of employment or compact.

Benefits :

Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.

New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a MedSurg specific competency validation.

Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
