Overview
Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking an R&D Electrical Engineer to support various ongoing programs within the RF & HPM Testing Division.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct RF testing using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers, etc.
- Design custom control systems to interface with devices and equipment
- Design custom electronics and perform troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Develop supporting hardware for internal and customer testing needs
- Participate in literature reviews, test design, and presentations
The duties will include but are not limited to RF test design and instrumentation, hardware or software reverse engineering, technical design, analysis, testing of HPM systems, data acquisition devices, and digital control systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related disciplineExperience with standard electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and / or power amplifiersExperience with the design and analysis of analog and digital electronicsExperience in printed circuit board (PCB) design from schematic capture, board layout, DRC, production file generation, and testSelf-motivated and able to work well within research and development teamship with the ability to obtain a security clearanceDesired Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience (2 years substitution for MS)Experience with the following software packages :LabVIEWC, C, and / or PythonAltium, Eagle, and / or KiCADExperience with related engineering disciplines such as hardware reverse engineering, antennas, EMI / EMC, analog electronics, digital electronics, software, control systems, etc.Experience with Design of Experiments practices and statistical methodsClearance
