Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely processing of orders.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory levels and records.
  • Help implement best practices for shipping procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Utilize shipping software to track and manage shipments and inventory.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a future team and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Knowledge of shipping software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
