Annual Salary : $130k $180k (varies depending on years of experience)
A pediatric long-term care and rehabilitation facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced advanced practice provider to join a multidisciplinary team caring for children and young adults with complex medical needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly supportive, collaborative environment where you ll provide both primary and acute care services to medically fragile patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services for pediatric residents
- Conduct assessments for acute illnesses or changes in medical status
- Prescribe, manage, and monitor medications
- Respond to emergencies and provide urgent care interventions as needed
- Evaluate diagnostic and lab results, documenting treatment plans and next steps
- Coordinate transfers to acute care hospitals, including communication with emergency departments and written consults
Qualifications :
Board-certified Pediatric NP, Family NP with pediatric background, or Physician AssistantMinimum of 1 2 years of prior NP / PA experience (new graduates will not be considered)Previous experience working with medically fragile pediatric patients (PICU, NICU, ICU strongly preferred)Candidates with outpatient pediatric experience may be considered if they have prior critical care trainingWhat Makes This Role Stand Out :
