Position Summary

The Floor Manager plays a vital role in leading our front-of-house team and ensuring that every guest feels welcome, cared for, and part of the Vendettas tradition. This position balances hands-on leadership, staff development, and guest relations while maintaining the high standards of service and energy that make our restaurant unique.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support front-of-house team during service.

Oversee daily dining room operations, including guest flow & table pacing.

Act as a guest ambassador—addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and building relationships with returning locals and visitors.

Motivate staff to reflect Vendettas’ culture of professionalism, teamwork, and fun.

Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily priorities, specials, and service notes.

Ensure the restaurant is consistently clean & organized.

Assist with administrative duties such as cash handling, inventory checks, and shift reporting.

Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and maintaining Vendettas’ reputation as a Vail Village staple.

Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or resort setting.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to energize a team.

Proven ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.

Knowledge of restaurant operations, health / safety standards, and POS systems.

Flexible and adaptable—able to thrive in the fast-paced, seasonal rhythm of a mountain town.

Passion for great food, pizza, and creating unforgettable dining experiences.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
