As a Security Professional - Financial Institution Unarmed Patrol in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone on site. Pay Rate : $19.80 / Hour

Job Schedule : Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure environment for all occupants and assets.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
