A Radiology Technologist, also known as a radiographer, operates imaging equipment to produce images of the human body for diagnosis and treatment. They work under the supervision of radiologists or physicians, preparing patients, positioning them for imaging, operating equipment, and ensuring patient safety. They also record and process patient data, and may train or supervise other technologists.

The Radiographic Technologist performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.

Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Experience : Experience preferred but not required.
Licensure / Certification : ARRT registry or registry eligible. AHA BLS-HCP required.
Other : Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
