About The Position

Job Title : RN - Critical Care / Echo Cardiac / Stress Testing

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Critical Care / Echo Cardiac / Stress Testing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday through Friday

Hours per Shift : 8.5 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Critical Care / Cardiac experience

License : North Dakota nursing license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Critical Care / Cardiac experience
• Ability to administer conscious sedation and recover patients post-procedure
• Experience with rhythm interpretation
• Strong assessment skills

Description :

The unit scans approximately 40 patients daily and operates both magnets into the evening.

Nurses will participate in an average of 8 Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and / or Cardioversions daily.

Nurses will collaborate with charge nurses and providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

The unit has 2 rooms, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 1.

Stress testing experience is preferred but not required.

There will be a rotation through weekend call, including one weekend a month and holidays for those with stress testing experience.

The dress code is navy blue scrubs.

This position requires strong assessment skills and a comfort level with rhythm interpretation.
