Coating / Finishing Machine Operator
Schedule / Work Hours : 7pm-7am, rotating 3-4 day shift. Work every other weekend.
Description :
- Be aware and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform job safely for the benefit of self, coworkers, contractors and for the protection of the facility including required personal protective equipment.
- Run sputter machine, perform setups, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Follow all quality procedures and instructions. Perform quality checks and ensure all quality standards are met.
- Notify supervisor of any and all defects and when parts / processes do not confirm to specifications.
- Alert EMTs and mechanics for any emergency repairs or planned maintenance.
- Follow written and verbal work instruction.
- Perform all material handling functions.
- Load and remove parts from machine.
- Communicate verbally and in writing.
- Be able to move materials up to 25lbs.
- Perform repetitive operations following standard methods or direct instructions requiring the use of some judgement in detecting and clearing misloaded parts.
- Be alert to detect and remove defective material.
- Ensure a constant flow of parts along tracks to fixtures.
- Report unusual conditions or faulty operations to proper supervision.
Environmental Health and Safety Responsibilities
Be aware of and follow all the Environmental Policy and EH&S work instructions / procedures.Perform every job safely, for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors and for the protection of the facility. This includes the use of required personal protective equipment and use of safety equipment as well as safe work practices.Immediately report every job-related injury or illness regardless of severity to a supervisor.Assist in investigating incidents as directed.Actively participate in safety meetings and training.Pay Details : $17.68 per hour
