Job Description

We are currently seeking a Residential Journeyman Electrician and Apprentice Electrician.

Journeyman Responsibilities :

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and schematics to understand the layout of the electrical systems.
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Inspecting transformers, drivers and circuit breakers and other electrical components for faults.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Following National Electrical Code local and state regulations.
  • Conducting regular preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Advising management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Training and mentoring apprentice electricians.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

​​ Qualifications :

  • 2+ years experience as a journeyman electrician.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrical License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity, as the job often involves climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in cramped conditions.

    • Journeyman Pay Range : $32-$38 an hour.

    Apprentice Responsibilities :

  • Carry out tasks under the supervision of a licensed Electrician.
  • Following National Electrical Code local and state regulations.
  • Assist in the installation of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Inspect and identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Use various tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Acquire knowledge about electrical systems, code requirements, and installation techniques.

    • ​​ Qualifications :

  • 2+ years experience as an apprentice electrician.
  • Valid Apprentice Electrical License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity, as the job often involves climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in cramped conditions.

    • Apprentice Pay Range : $22-$25 an hour.

We have standard work day hours of 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm, we often have times where OT is available if you are able and willing to work more than 40 hours per week.
