Humble Dermatology is looking for an experienced dermatology Medical Assistant who is a self-starter and has the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other medical professionals. Experience with private dermatology practice is preferred. Must be reliable, flexible and team oriented.

This position is primarily responsible for direct patient care, transmitting prescriptions to pharmacies, preparing specimens for laboratories / path, communicating results to patients and providers.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to : administrative duties such as taking physician orders, working with pharmacies, Labs, rooming patients, assisting with patient scheduling, and other duties that may be assigned by management to enhance patient experience and safety. The MA will be responsible for data entry into EMR software, communicating with the front desk, other medical assistants and providers regarding patients who need to be seen urgently. Coordinate patient care with other departments or entities. The MA is also required to verify and maintain patient records, set up and sanitize of exam rooms, complete basic routine medical procedures, provide consistent exceptional service etc.

Other Duties Include;

Processing patient calls that require nursing intervention and scheduling patients when necessary.

Performs appropriate assessment and assists patient as directed by the provider.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
