Our Father's Rights / Men's Issues Group focuses on delivering personalized, compassionate, and effective legal representation for men with special attention to the biases that can play against men in the courtroom. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our practice.
As part of our Family Law Division , the right candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic, growing team with a clear path to leadership and advancement. Our firm is expanding, organized around what we call 'Pod' infrastructure – the ideal candidate possesses the leadership skills and tenacity to grow from an associate attorney to a Pod leader, to a leader of multiple Pods. Pod leaders are incentivized via comprehensive bonus structure for meeting and exceeding quarterly targets.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal representation for men in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, civil litigation, and other related areas.
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and pleadings.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings, with a focus on delivering strong, persuasive arguments.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering exceptional service and regular communication to keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.
- Manage case files in CRM software (preferably Clio), ensuring all client information, communications, and documentation are well-organized and up to date.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong focus on representing clients in divorce, custody, and financial disputes.Proven experience in managing a caseload from inception to conclusion.Courtroom experience, including trials, with ability to advocate effectively for clients.Excellent case management and client management skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple cases simultaneously.Proficiency with CRM software (preferably Clio) to manage case files and track client information.Desired Skills and Attributes
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine desire to help clients navigate difficult life situations.Bilingual in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is highly desired for effective communication with a diverse clientele.Benefits
