Who We're Looking For

Toyota's Accounts Payable Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately capture and manage Toyota's short-term liabilities to vendors and suppliers. Reporting to the Manager of Accounts Payable, the person in this role will support the AP Accounting department's objective to support department & division goals and perform core accounting functions to achieve monthly deliverables.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analyzing, preparing, and recording key monthly and quarterly journal entries for payables, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and the timeliness of entries.
• Preparing and presenting monthly financial analyses to management, including account fluctuation analysis and other ad hoc analysis requests.
• Preparing account reconciliations and supporting documentation to maintain key SOX and internal controls.
• Collaborating closely with key manufacturing plants and divisions to provide general ledger support as needed.
• Working alongside external auditors to support quarterly / annual financial and SOX audits by providing schedules and addressing inquiries and ad hoc requests.
• Promoting the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements to enhance controls and efficiencies over accounting processes.
